Intratuin isa cooperative with 53 garden centers in the Netherlands, three in Belgium and ten in Germany. To ensure that every franchise store has the same corporate identity, all Intratuin stores use Comrads solutions. Lobke Samallo, Manager formula & marketing communication, about her experiences.

One uniform appearance

We are a cooperative with around sixty affiliated garden centers. Each branch is partly responsible for its own POS materials. Of course we want to guarantee that we present a uniform image to the outside world. In the past that was quite a challenge. People have to use the right font and insert the right elements in the right place on the right corporate identity paper. And then you have to deal with different printers with different settings. We were looking for a way to give our entrepreneurs freedom while keeping control. The Comrads Webtop Publishing module, among others, is the answer. For example, by deploying corporate identity-consistent Brand Templates, we can easily format and bulk produce price cards. By uploading central or local price data and other data, generating and printing locally is a breeze. The tool also offers registration options, which we will be launching soon. Then stores will be able to (pre-)subscribe to specific communications.

Far fewer questions

From one thing comes another. Our franchisees also have to order their marketing materials. Pens, flags, cash registers, gift cards and even catering: there is another webshop for everything. This was experienced as quite difficult. By working with the Comrads Marketing Webshop module, we made their life a lot easier. The entrepreneur logs into the Marketing Portal and through the Marketing Webshop module the entrepreneur sees all available materials including price information . There are over three thousand employees in all Intratuin stores. By having one central location for all brand communication, our employees save time and my team receives far fewer questions. In the future, we are considering expanding the Comrads DAM module and implementing it organization-wide. Then we will also have all of our mood images and other images, videos, documents, communication materials and brand files in one central location.

From the very first meetings I had a very good feeling with the Comrads team. I like that pragmatism and the people in my team experienced it the same way.
