Impactful month at Comrads: growth, audits, and team strength
November at Comrads felt like a month in which everything came together: content, structure, and energy. As the year draws to a close, we were in full swing. From smart technological updates to exciting collaborations on blog publications to ISO certification, we would like to share with you what has been happening.
Control over growth
More and more organizations are contacting us because they feel that their content structure is creaking at the seams. Sound familiar? You're not alone. In November, we wrote two blogs in which we explored this topic in more depth:
In “Working smarter with metadata in your DAM system," we show how AI, auto-tagging, and clear structure contribute to more control and less manual hassle. Less searching, more doing.
And with “DAM helps you work faster, more consistently, and more scalably," we hit the nail on the head for many marketing teams: pressure is mounting, while clarity is diminishing. So it's time to say goodbye to final_FINAL_def_v3.psd and opt for a future-proof system.
The responses to these blogs were remarkably familiar. From "that's us" to direct requests for a demo. And that makes us happy.
DAM in practice: new customers, new insights
We are also delighted to announce two wonderful new collaborations. We have started working with Peter Bruining – The Jewellery Company, helping them to structure the visual material for their unique jewelry collection. And at ROC Amsterdam | Flevoland, we are supporting them in organizing and sharing visual content within their educational communications. Two completely different organizations with one shared need: control over their brand.
Building with confidence
Internally, November was also dominated by strengthening our foundations. We successfully completed our interim ISO27001 audit with only two minor areas for improvement. It's always nice when an external perspective confirms that your affairs are in order, especially in the field of information security. We also launched a new integration: via LinkrUI, it is now possible to link Comrads DAM directly to Figma, among other platforms. This is ideal for creative teams that want to switch quickly without compromising brand consistency. You simply work from your design environment with direct access to the right assets. Efficiency at its best.
Team & pride
Finally, we also took a moment to reflect on a personal moment: the departure of our colleague Romy, who is taking an exciting new step at Datakeeper. During a pleasant team lunch, we looked back on our wonderful collaboration and, of course, looked ahead to what is yet to come (hint: team weekend). Thank you, Romy!
What will December bring?
The Festival of DAM has come to an end. It was an inspiring online event full of recognition, practical examples, and insights into how your organization can really get a grip on your brand and digital content. Were you there? December is still bursting with energy at Comrads. We are working on a number of important deliveries, technical releases, and our updated licensing model (more on that soon), but we are also making time for some lightheartedness and fun.
✈️ Team weekend & tradition
From Friday, December 12, through Sunday, December 14, we will be traveling with the team to Valencia for the now legendary annual Comrads team weekend. It's a break from the daily grind, but that's often what creates the best energy for the new year.
As every year, Comrads will be closed between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Of course, we remain available for urgent matters or service questions, but on January 2, 2026 we will be back at your service with new ideas, insights, and solutions for your content and brand challenges.
