What is Branding?

Branding is the process by which a unique and recognizable (visual) brand identity is developed for a company through which (positive) attributes and values are attributed to that company or product.

Why is a good branding strategy so important?

A well-thought-out branding strategy plays an increasingly important role in the success of your business. It ensures better differentiation from the competition and a clear brand preference. It is important that your branding is consistent so that your target audience continues to understand and recognize your brand. In this way, you build customer trust and it is possible to create lasting customer relationships. In this way, your brand becomes a tool to sell your service/product.

In addition, good branding is also important internally. What brand elements are being used? What are the company's core values? And how are these core values reflected in the brand's manifestations? A clear strategy ensures that not only customers, but also employees know what the company stands for and what the company wants to express.

Good branding through Brand Management

To execute a good branding strategy, it is important to manage, monitor and maintain your brand and all associated brand elements (such as logos, icons and fonts). This can be done using Brand Management, also known as brand management. With Brand Management , you make sure that everything is consistently aligned, readily available and used appropriately. For example, there is no more uncertainty about whether the corporate identity has been applied correctly, or what tone of voice should be used.
